U.S. Congressman Bob Goodlatte (R-Va) is the first member of Congress to disclose details regarding his cryptocurrency portfolio.

In June of 2018 the U.S. House of Representatives Committee on Ethics published a memo regarding financial disclosure requirements of cryptocurrency holdings over $1,000.

The financial disclosure statement shows that Goodlatte owns at least $80,000 in Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash and Ethereum.

Goodlatte, who serves Virginia’s Sixth Congressional District, has yet to comment on the matter.
