Back in September of 2014, Twitter crypto personality @MissSatoshi shared a bit of personal news that she had sold her Grammy some Bitcoin…

So basically, about 4 ago, at the ripe young age of 91 — and probably about three years before you — this nonagenarian held a position in Bitcoin.

Today, we are sad to report Crypto Grammy has passed away. She was 94½ years old.

Grammy first got into bitcoin back at $300 per BTC, so she’s certainly seen some serious ups and downs, and she certainly earned enough shekels to buy some amazing tchotchkes.

The news of her passing was shared on Miss Satoshi’s Twitter feed…

Crypto Grammy’s grandson Justin Blincoe, former COO of Coinapult and host of the Liberty Entrepreneurs podcast, also weighed in on Twitter…

It wasn’t just relatives of Crypto Grammy who were moved by her passing. Here are some more reactions from people on Twitter who felt connected to here in some way…

If you’re looking for a way to honor Crypto Grammy, please consider introducing your grandparent or parent to crypto.

Just realized that Justin Blincoe quote-tweeted us, and it’s great to see that our post here was well-received.
