Crypto exchange FCoin is to blame for the recent skyrocketing gas prices which touched 100 Gwei per transaction overnight. FCoin is holding a vote for new token listings, and voting is done by transferring a minimum amount of the token to the exchange. The tokens with top 20 total number of deposit accounts will be eligible for the first listing. Unfortunately, these token transfers are using up almost 40% of the Ethereum network’s resources.
