Step 1 — Increase RAM Supply – Block producers will start growing RAM at the rate of 64GB per year (1 KB per block).
Step 2 — Lower Account Memory Usage – This will reduce the minimum account creation RAM requirements by almost 50%.
Step 3 — Free Accounts with Block.one’s iOS Wallet – Block.one will be able to offer a free EOS account that requires no creation cost
Larimer commented on his committment to the EOSIO software and stated:
“It is my goal to ensure that EOSIO remains the fastest, lowest latency, most scalable, and easiest to use blockchain platform on the market.”
Larimer has a long history in the cryptocurrency space and created the cryptocurrency platform BitShares and was a co-founder of the blockchain social platform Steemit.
